The concept of the project is rooted in understanding the façade as the visible expression of the home’s identity. The intervention aimed to update its architectural language and strengthen its presence, creating a clearer transition between private space and the urban environment. Integration with the surroundings was a central design axis, prioritizing a harmonious and contemporary reading that dialogues with the context while maintaining a distinct character.

Structural Challenges

The exterior renovation involved technical challenges related to interventions on the architectural envelope and existing access points. Updating the façade and open areas required careful evaluation of the relationship between new finishes and original construction elements to ensure compatibility and stability. Improving access areas also required precise planning to ensure that modifications maintained structural and functional coherence within the built framework.
