Single – Family Residence – Interior Remodeling

narrativa y concepto

The concept of this project is rooted in transforming the interior as the core of the domestic experience. Through strategic spatial redistribution and the incorporation of customized details, the proposal sought to enhance daily functionality and reinforce a coherent contemporary aesthetic. Each design decision was oriented toward optimizing the existing space, prioritizing spatial clarity, efficiency, and visual harmony across all renovated areas.
“Interior design does not simply organize spaces; it transforms the way everyday life is experienced.”

Project Stages

BEFORE

Original condition of the space before development of the new architectural concept and transformation process.

DESIGN

Development of the architectural concept defining structure, function, and spatial organization of the project.

CONSTRUCTION

Execution of the approved design ensuring structural integrity, coordination, and precise implementation.

CURRENT STATE

Final condition of the space reflecting the completed design, structural resolution, and intended functionality

Structural Challenges

Although the project focused exclusively on interior spaces, the redistribution of rooms required careful technical review to ensure compatibility with the existing structural system. The renovation of the kitchen and bathrooms, along with finish upgrades, required technical coordination to ensure that modifications did not compromise load-bearing elements or affect the overall stability of the residence. The process demanded precision in planning to balance design intent and construction performance.

Structural Compatibility

Structural compatibility was a determining criterion during the spatial redistribution process. Each interior modification was developed considering its relationship with existing walls, installations, and construction elements, ensuring that the new design was technically and coherently integrated within the original system of the residence. This approach made it possible to optimize the spatial configuration without creating structural conflicts or compromising overall stability.

Structural Continuity and Stability

Structural continuity was preserved through technical planning that ensured interior interventions respected the existing construction logic. Decisions related to redistribution and finish upgrades were aligned with the need to maintain stability and consistency in the building’s performance. The result is an interior renovation that enhances functionality and aesthetics while maintaining structural stability as the foundation of the project.
